Calfs Details: Harvey, Bull, Fresian x Hereford, DOB 18-Jul-18,

OUR STORY:  I would like to introduce my calf Harvey. Harvey was born with a twin and was very little but has grown well. Hes always been a cheeky stubborn calf and loves getting as dirty as he can. I have spent many hours cleaning washing and brushing him. Spending time with Harvey makes it worth while because i know he trusts me when he comes running to the gate after school or sitting down at the end of the day for his head to be rubbed.

Calfs Details: Frankie,  Heifer,  Speckled Park Friesian Cross, DOB 28-Jul-18,

OUR STORY:  Frankie is and extraordinary calf, she has got black and white speckles all over her body. She is super friendly and so nosy. She is also special because her mum is a huge friesian pet cow, I was there when she was born because me and dad were getting the cows in. When ever someone is outside she sticks her head through the gate. Frankie loves to go for adventurous walks. She acts as if she was a dog and makes me laugh. Frankie is my best friend and I would never ever change her!

Calfs Details: Papillon, Heifer, Kiwicross, DOB 30/07/18,

OUR STORY:  My calf’s name is Papillon (that’s French for ‘butterfly’) because she has a butterfly looking shape on her back. Her tag number is 10 and she is nearly 2 months old. She is very friendly and cheeky and when I squat down she licks my face and chews my shirt. She is very cooperative when I put her on the lead and walk her around and we have a bond with each other. It is very easy for me to think of many great things about my calf because she’s so nice and every word of this is true.

Calfs Details: Sparky, Heifer, AngusxHolstien, DOB 20th July 2018,

OUR STORY:  Hi there, My name is Hannah White and I am a Yr 11 student (15 years of age) attending Marlborough Girls College. I was gifted with a gorgeous Angus/Holstein heifer (Sparky). Sparky was born on the 20th of July around midday. I have found it very easy taking care of Sparky compared to other calves from past years and every month I track her weight, I amazed by how she has grown and how she has been easy/cooperative to train and easy to feed (Sparky Loves her food!!), she has been a great pet with a kind caring heart.

Calfs Details: Harvey, Bull, Fresian x Hereford, DOB 16-Jun-18,

OUR STORY:  Hi my name is Blake and this is my calf Harvey. Harvey was born a twin and was very small but he is now growing well. He has always been a character, from trying to eat everything in sight to getting as dirty as he can. Ive spent many hours brushing washing and cleaning Harvey but it makes it all worth while knowing that i have earnt his trust when i calll and he comes running or sitting down for a rub at the end of the day. This is by far the best part about raising my calf Harvey.

Calfs Details: Teddy, Bull, Hereford cross, DOB 4th June 2018,

OUR STORY:  This is my cool calf teddy, I called him teddy because he is a big teddy bear. He loves cuddles and I LOVE cuddling him. I’m outside brushing/ feeding him rain hail or shine. I love spending time with him and going on new adventure up the road or in the paddock. I was really disappointed when my school said I couldn’t take him to calf club cause I live for calf club it is so much fun, and I’ve learnt so much about rearing calves over the past 8 years.

Calfs Details: Jack, Bull, Hereford x, DOB 3-Jun-18,

OUR STORY:  This is jack he is a lovely calf with a quiet temperament. He loves coming in for cuddles and to get brushed and learn new things. I take him for daily walks up our road to give him a change of scenery and to get him used to lots of different things. I was disappointed about starting college and not being able to do calf club anymore as I live for calf club, jack is my 8th calf and I still have my 1st and 7th calves at home, but I think jack is my most well behaved of all.
